Eda Inan, LCSW
Therapist
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Therapist with twelve years experience in the nonprofit world. I am passionate about mental health and well-being and reducing stigma around accessing care. Over the years, I have dedicated my career to working with individuals and groups from diverse backgrounds and have a multi-cultural and non-judgmental approach in my work.
I believe that change is the only constant and that although we don’t create all of our own problems, we have to fix them anyways.
My ultimate goal is to help others build their optimal toolbox; find the tools that may be buried deep down, rusted, or may have been missing all along. I’m ready to grab the toolbox with you and get working on your inner thermostat during the times where you find that things may get too heated or even too cold and numb.
I hope to work towards a mutual goal of empowerment, reduced suffering, improved quality of life, joy and fulfilment.
I am passionate about helping others identify problems and solutions. We all rationally know when something is bad for us, yet we can continue to do it anyways. What keeps us “stuck” or in a pattern. It is my passion to help others gain the tools and skills needed to identify the “function” of such behaviors in order to make positive replacements and changes.
I am dedicated to working with clients to discover ways to better manage the stressors of life, tolerate situations that cannot be changed, develop a healthier and more compassionate sense of self and ultimately lead a life worth living in the fullest possible way.
